7 Things to Know About Brad Go
Brad Go may be one of the shortest names you’ve ever heard but his music and his story certainly tell a thousand words. He is a dashing Filipino musician who surprised everyone when he entered the OPM scene. Let’s keep up on Brad Go and know him better with this list of 7 things about him.
1. Brad Go is Chicago-born Filipino who is currently based in New York City. Even though, he has rarely been in the country, he is a true-blooded Filipino. In the recent years, his music took him back to the Philippines when he promoted his project here and did some live performances.
2. That project was none other than the very inspiring, Hush Project. It was a worldwide quest initiated by Brad to tell the greatest love stories from all over the world. He travelled to different countries to gather stories about love and then make an original composition for each of these stories. He compiled them and made them into an album, produced by MCA Music. 3. Here’s the interesting story behind the project name. During one of Brad Go’s evening commute in New York, he came across a beautiful girl in the pouring rain who didn’t have an umbrella. Being the gentleman that he is, Brad offered to share with her his umbrella. This inspired Brad to write songs about his own love story and post them on a blog he entitled “Have U Seen Her?”, the acronym of this phrase now serves as the title of the project.
4. Wish 107.5 was lucky enough to have Brad perform inside the Wish Bus. During a Roadshow stint, he sang some of his original songs from the Hush Project and a cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”. 5. Brad began showing his talent in music when he was 8 years old. He played the piano, and eventually, picked up the guitar. In college, he joined a cover band, and that’s when he knew music will now be part of his life. His music is inspired by the likes of The Beatles, Elton John, and Ben Folds Five.
6. Aside from being a musician, he is also an editor and a director. At times too, he is in advertising. He has worked on award-winning campaigns for clients such as AT&T, Royal Caribbean, Visa, Intel, GE, and HBO.
7. Brad Go, through the Hush Project, has got to know heaps of inspiring love stories. However, he admitted that he hasn’t find the “one” for him yet. He even said that he hasn’t had a girlfriend at the time he started the project two years ago.
