7 Things to Know About Esang De Torres
Esang De Torres is a child wonder we need to watch out for. She has recently gained a lot of popularity through her cute charm and big talent. While we know her as the second runner-up in the Voice Kids Season 2, there are some other things we need to know about this kid.
1. Eight year-old Telesa “Esang” De Torres hails from Tondo, Manila. At her tender age, her talent in singing is undeniable. She is fond of singing songs from theatre and musical plays. It still amazes us how such a great, big voice comes from such a charming, little kid.
2. Before auditioning in the Voice Kids Season 2, Esang already joined various competitions. One of which is the “Mini Me” segment of the noontime show “It’s Showtime”. She posed as the kid version of Lea Salonga, who also ended up to be her coach in the Voice Kids Season 2.
3. Esang also joined the fourth season of the Promil I-Shine competition in 2015. She finished off as the grand champion, further showcasing and honing her gift in music.
4. The turning point in Esang’s young career in the music industry is when she auditioned for the Voice Kids Season 2. She wowed the judges with her rendition of the song “Home” from “The Wiz”. Her performances all throughout the competition were outstanding. The coaches of the competition, as well as the viewers, commended Esang’s vocal ability.
5. Esang will be celebrating her birthday soon on February 12. She is currently preparing for her birthday concert entitled “Ako Ay Kakanta”, which will be held on the same day at the Skydome, SM North Edsa.
6. Another thing that keeps Esang busy is the recording of her upcoming solo album.
7. Esang, together with the other finalists of the Voice Kids Season 2, performed inside the Wish 107.5 Bus for the Roadshow on October 20, 2015. She gave her own amazing rendition of the popular OPM song, “Salamat, Salamat Musika”.
The future of Esang’s career is indeed so bright with all these upcoming projects for her. Let us be sure to keep an eye on this kid as she further nurture her talent. Her performance of “Salamat, Salamat Musika” during the Roadshow earned her nominations in the coming Wish Music Awards for Best Wish Cover, Best WISHclusive Performance by a Young Artist, and Wish Young Artist of the Year. This little girl i noticed in most of her performances has a perfect diction and even the facial expression is excellent! She’s gifted with a sensitive sense of hearing that’s why maybe she is always in tune. . Among her contemporaries, in my own personal opinion, this 8 yr old girl has that “star quality”, that “it”factor to make it to the entertainment industry.

There are lots of singers but Esang is unique in her own way and I pray she go on the top level because she deserves and we need her in our music industry not only local but also oversees.From day one of the voice kids 2 I never failed to watch this amazing pretty talented girl but sad won’t able to watch her first concert because I live Hk.To you Esang I wish you’ll be successful and all your dream come true.Always remember when you reach the top always stay humble and the best daughter and the best sister.God Bless you and your family.
