7 Things to Know About The Voysing
The Voysing is a band trio who has recently been making a noise in the Filipino music scene. The fresh and raw talent of these boys are certainly worth watching out for. Let’s get to know them better through these 7 things to know about the Voysing.
1. The Voysing is composed of brothers Sean, Christopher, and JC Naval of Taytay, Rizal. All three of them handle the vocals of the band, but individually, Sean takes care of the guitar, Christopher of the drums, and JC of the bass.
2. They decided to form a band in 2012. They made it a point to be known as a trio who usually plays and covers old songs of The Beatles and Beegees.
3. The Voysing has joined several local band competitions. Some of the awards they won are Sm Taytay Acoustic Battle of the Band Grand Champion and SM Masinag Battle of the band Grand Champion.
4. Their musical influences include Ely Buendia, Parokya ni Edgar, and Rivermaya.
5. Recently, the Voysing took a leap from covering popular hit songs, and instead, wrote an original composition. The result is the beautiful and heart-warming piece entitled “Pag-ibig”.
6. On September 18, 2015, The Voysing celebrated the band’s third year anniversary with a special concert held at San Juan Gym in Taytay, Rizal.
7. The Voysing is a regular performer in Wish 107.5’s mall tours.
