Since day one, Wish 107.5 has been breaking barriers. With the launch of the Wish Bus in August 2014, the station has hinted that it will be more than just a typical music-box-on-air.
Apart from playing hits 24/7 from a traditional four-walled FM booth, the station stages live mini-concerts right smack in the middle of the road through the fully-equipped Wish Bus. And living up to its name, the station sustains a charitable, wish-granting advocacy.
It also shows support to OPM artists and fans through its two flagship events — Wish 107.5 Music Awards and Wish 107.5 Ultimate Fandom Challenge.
However, it doesn’t end there — the upscale FM station set the bar higher this year in terms of delivering the coolest musical experience. Investing intensely in its YouTube Channel, Wish 107.5 is now reaping overwhelming results.
Created to serve as an online sanctuary of phenomenal “WISHclusive” videos of the brightest and freshest musical artists, the Wish 107.5 YouTube Channel is now the leading FM YouTube page in the country, reaching over a hundred million views in two years’ time.
Earning the global nod of music lovers that range from local fans to international entertainment figures, the channel skyrocketed into becoming a sought-after online gateway of Filipino artists to the world.
The station celebrates this milestone with the second Wish 107.5 Music Awards (WMA).
It is a fitting tribute to the artists and OPM supporters who are the true heroes behind the ascent of Wish 107.5 from a rookie FM station to an ambassador of Filipino artistry.
The station is grateful that it has been instrumental in uplifting the status of Filipino musicality in the global music arena. Staging a better and bigger WMA is just one way of giving back.
For the upcoming 2nd WMA, slated in January next year, fans and supporters can anticipate another spectacular event celebrating local music idols.
Artists whose songs were released and whose WISHclusive videos were performed during the eligibility period, November 1, 2015 until October 31, 2016, have the chance to bag next year’s awards.
