JK Labajo to kick off 2017 with first major solo show, sophomore album

Juan Karlos Labajo is all-set to kick off another big year as he will be holding his first major solo show, “JKL Live,” this February 5, coinciding with his 16th birthday.

On the same event, which will be held at the KIA Theatre in Cubao, Quezon City, the The Voice Kids alum will also release his much-anticipated sophomore effort. The new record will include cuts originally composed by Labajo himself and his current single, “Sana Kung Pwede Lang,” penned by former Urbandub frontman Gabby Alipe.

“I’m very excited for this. I believe some of my fans (JKUFC) abroad will also come home to celebrate with me. I’m just very thankful of all the support, trust, and love I’ve been continuously receiving from everyone,” Labajo said.

According to MCA Music, the concert’s promoter and Labajo’s label and management, the concert will be an avenue where avid fans can get more personal with the teen acoustic heartthrob.

A press release remarked that “there will be a soundcheck party where [SVIP] ticket holders will have the privilege to watch Labajo on his pre-concert preparations on stage, which will then be followed by a Meet & Greet.”
