Zia Quizon and Kris Angelica, who both received nominations in the 2nd Wish 107.5 Music Awards (WMA), graced last December 16’s Roadshow gig at Venice Piazza, Mckinley Hill in Taguig City.

The special episode was part of the ongoing WMA Mega Manila tour where the Wish 107.5 Bus stages live mini-concerts in different establishments in NCR, Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan and Pampanga.

Quizon, who is vying in the Best WISHclusive Performance by a Female Artist (“Hotline Bling”) and Wish Female Artist of the Year, rendered stripped down covers of “Crazy,” “To Love Somebody” and “Creep.”

The acoustic Roadshow sessions of the showbiz royalty (Quizon is the daughter of the late Philippine Comedy King Dolphy and Divine Diva Zsazsa Padilla) have previously become a hot topic on Twitter New York alongside the other WISHclusives uploaded on the Wish 107.5 YoutTube Channel.

As part of the back-to-back Roadshow treat, Kris Angelica stunned the listeners with her renditions of “Bang Bang,” “Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka” and “Love on Top.”

Asked about her WMA nod, the fast-rising belter shared it is a “great privilege to be included in the list of nominees.”

Her WMA nomination is yet another addition to the accolades she received this year. Last December 7, she bagged an Awit Award for Best Performance by a New Female Recording Artist for her single, “Sabi Sabi,” under Viva Records. The same track landed on the top spot of the Spotify Philippines Viral 50 chart.

Prior to the Roadshow gig in Taguig, the Wish 107.5 Bus brought Jireh Lim and Kath Loria to SM City Trece Martires in Cavite where one of the WMA Activity Stations was located. In this area, fans can share their wishes on the Wishing Wall and at the same vote for their favorite nominees.

Polling period for the 2nd WMA will end on January 16, 2017 at 12 noon.
